Meet The Founder

Beverly F. Maddox, CMP
Principal Consultant

With over 25 years of experience in events and project management, I launched BFM Consulting Group in March 2022 after serving as Director of Signature Events at the Detroit Regional Chamber. My career at the Chamber began in 1996 with an entry-level position, and over the years, I advanced to manage over 20 events annually. I am a Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) and hold a certificate in Project Management.

In addition to my work at the Chamber, I served as the Event Manager for the Detroit Jazz Fest and as VIP Talent Coordinator for the Parade Company.  My extensive experience has equipped me with a deep understanding of event logistics, strategy, and execution, making me a trusted partner for my clients.
